Great introductory class for novices or for beginning artists who need practice in figure sketching! We will start by utilizing art references and then move on to a clothed model for inspiration in exploring basic figure sketching concepts.

The human form will gently emerge through soft charcoal studies and you will also enjoy the excitement and immediacy of quick gestural sketches and other approaches.

Note: Prior figure students may focus on their favorite mediums.

Prices: $135 for YAC members and $150 for non-members.

Supplies and Model: Students share cost of charcoal and model fee. Other supplies available locally. Information emailed upon registration.
